The mission is to reach Americans everywhere to conduct testing for Covid-19. This pictured vehicle is ready to go now. Extensive testing will enable doctors to treat patients and scientists as they search for a cure and develop vaccines. Mass testing refines the data needed. Adding critical information to our knowledgebase speeds up the search for responsible treatment.
NYU professor and Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Romer argues that we will need to test people on a massive scale in order to get out of the pandemic, with millions of Americans getting tests every single day.
Pictures of a smaller unit and details can be seen HERE.
Our vision includes expanding virus testing to rural community hospitals, on-site at businesses and organizations saving medical expenses throughout the health care system. Savings include patient travel expenses and wait time in doctors offices.
The problem is a pandemic
Over 200 countries around the world have their people and economies devastated by the Covid-19 coronavirus. Defeating or controlling the virus will take up to eighteen (18) months before a vaccine is deemed safe. The key to effectively fight the virus requires testing as many people as possible to determine if they have or have had the virus as the scientific community searches for treatments and vaccines.
As of today, April 5, 2020, Worldometer.com shows coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 206 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances(ships). So far 1,632,955 persons have been tested. With a United States population of 331,002,651 it is abundantly clear we have a huge testing task ahead of us.
Confirmed Cases and Deaths by Country, Territory, or Conveyance
The coronavirus COVID-19 is affecting 209 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances. The day is reset after midnight GMT+0. — April 7, 2020 update.
Here’s why testing is important
Testing puts peoples minds at ease if they test negative. Finding those testing positive enables early treatment by medical professionals.
Others may be asymtomatic while some are found to have unknowingly recovered. In such instance, their anti-bodies have value. Those who have anti-bodies might donate blood for plasma therapy (if found to be viable) on the mobile vehicle for use in treating seriously ill victims of the disease.
Here's what we plan to do about it
Our mission is to gather samples to be tested later in a laboratory.
One of the keys in dealing with Covid-19 and future viruses requires developing better technologies that can tell if someone is infected with a virus BEFORE they become asymptomatic. That way, someone who is sick can be treated and take appropriate action sooner to limit the number of other people infected.
The low cost recently announced Covid-19 tester from Abbott Labs can DETECT COVID-19 IN AS LITTLE AS 5 MINUTES. FDA has granted emergency use authorization for fastest available molecular point-of-care test for this novel coronavirus.
Mobile testing results will be submitted for inclusion in databases for further statistical study of Covid-19 as well as helping prepare for future viruses. We need to determine if the Abbott tester can be deployed onboard the testing gathering vehicle.
Here is why we need your donation
The $1,000 goal enables me to cover expenses incurred in preparing and submitting grant applications while exploring other possible funding options as we prepare to activate the project mission.
Ten years ago, I would be picking up the phone and calling for help. At 84, I am under self-imposed house arrest limited to sending emails which, like so many sent to me, go unanswered.
When I reach $1,000, I can pay a now at home, highly qualified executive with great contacts half that amount. I will implore her to take on marketing this campaign using email and phone calls.
With the other $500, I have an experienced educator with exceptional grant-writing skills. My expection is she will handle contacts with the various government agencies many of which she is familiar with.
This first Mobile MD is planned to service the northeastern Ohio area. As this campaign progresses and project viability is confirmed, we will seek out partners in other states by assisting them in acquiring their own Mobile MD. Likely partners include hospitals and other medically cognizant operators.
Our campaign has a sense of urgency. Many projects go unfunded. If we do not raise the stated goal all donations will be given to other charities to benefit children's hospitals or disabled veterans and their widows as we have done with other projects.
Every donor gets a life changing perk
My recent e-book includes links to many videos, pertinent articles and an online dictionary. This video book makes for quick reading with extended access to carefully selected detailed information. This technolgical approach to bookmaking leads to a unique and complete reading experience. Select your preferred colors, font and font size with page flipping and more.
Downloading the Kindle app enables viewing on phones, tablets and desktop computers.
Preview it at Amazon.com and buy it there for under five bucks. Amazon will download it to your computing device. All royalties end up going to a worthy cause anyway if you choose not to donate here. The e-book is under $5
Annual projects of note
Our 2019 project resulted in our donation valued at retail over $50,000.
The project resulted in 800 pieces of brand new clothing with tags being distributed under the NEOPAT Adopt-A-Family program at the Wade Park Veterans Hospital in Cleveland OH and the SAM Center in Massillon Oh serving area military, veterans and their widows.
I try to do good deeds by doing what I can to help out. Look, I am an idea guy. I think things up but then I am off to other dreams. If you have read this far I can only hope you get an inkling of what I am about. Take a look.
Thank you for visiting.
Best regards and be well,

To keep occupied and alert, I do all the work such as this campaign. I'm the webmaster, author and everything one could expect from a one person crusade. I work late, sleep late and care not who gets the credit. I have had my time in the limelight so if some entrepreneur likes this idea, go for it. I'd be glad to help.

Synthetic antibodies might offer a quick coronavirus treatment
"In the search for a treatment for COVID-19, researchers are exploring a wide range of approaches, including antibiotics (which ordinarily aren’t effective against viruses), a drug used for malaria (also not a virus) and of course the gold standard for viral disease, a vaccine (which is probably at least a year away). Another approach is to harvest antibodies, protective substances produced in response to an infection, from the blood plasma of people who have been infected.
That, however, is a slow process, and there are no guarantees it will work; you have to recruit patients to donate plasma, and then collect and process it into a form that can be used therapeutically."
