Over 3 days in February we recently completed an epic 45km fundraising walk along the great ocean road – from Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles – to support the work for The Freedom Partnership, an organisation who provides direct care to survivors of slavery in Australia.

The walk was hosted by the charity Project Futures, and all proceeds go directly to the Freedom Partnership’s Trafficking and Slavery Safe House – the only refuge of its kind in Australia – providing vital support and assistance to survivors of slavery here in Australia.

The Safe House operates entirely on community donations and couldn’t do what it does without fundraising efforts like this.

Please consider supporting us, and the valuable work of The Trafficking & Slavery Safe House as they seek to transform, restore and empower the lives of those affected by slavery and exploitation.

Your support will help The Safe House:

  • Provide outreach support and case management to men, women and children who have experienced slavery and forced marriage in Australia.
  • Support victims to access vital services such as shelter, transport, food and emergency medical care.
  • Provide social work services and confidential advice to victims of exploitation or people at risk of slavery.

Each participant in the walk has a minimum fundraising target of $2,500 ($5,000 for two people). Can you sponsor us to reach this goal?

Did we mention that all donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE? :)

Thanks for your support!
